It's hard to know where to start because if I'm being honest, it was hard to know what I was even starting when I went down this baking path that quickly led to a crazy cookie lady rabbit hole, and now here I am living in Cookie Land.

Not long into the pandemic I discovered some health conditions that put my whole life on pause. These conditions all limit my body's ability to fight viruses (impeccable timing, am I right?). With a family who needs me I decided it was time to resign from my corporate job, hunker down, and stay home for a bit. This led me (like so many of us during COVID) to dive head first into hobby baking... But for me, it was much more than just baking, and I'd find out very soon that it would become so much more than a hobby.

..So I DOVE IN!! There wasn't many hours of the day that you didn't find me at the kitchen table, icing bag in hand and my favorite podcasts popped into my ears.

In a very real way, decorating cookies saved me!!

It pulled me out of a dark place and into a community full of small women owned businesses that have became dear friends of mine. There's just something about women supporting women that I couldn't resist being a part of!!

Flash forward a couple of years and I now own an in home baking business, and co-own a sugar cookie class company.

It's been a long few years for us all, am I right? ..

but out of the darkness I have found light in the community around me and I only hope that I can share some of that light with you!
